Gramcore exists because I couldn't find what I needed.

The Search

I tried app after app. Grammar workbooks. Flashcard decks. Nothing stuck.

Other apps taught me words, but not how to use them correctly. I couldn't find a single SRS designed for grammar. Every exercise was multiple choice — I never had to actually produce anything.

The Realization

I realized the problem: no one had built an SRS specifically for English grammar. Spaced repetition works brilliantly for vocabulary. Why wasn't anyone applying it to grammar?

So I decided to build it myself.

The Promise

Every explanation in Gramcore passes one test: would this have helped me when I was struggling? If an explanation is confusing, it gets rewritten. If an exercise feels pointless, it gets cut.

Quality over quantity. Fewer grammar points taught well beats hundreds of poorly explained rules.
